Hair follicle is actually a stocking like structure containing many layers with various jobs. On the bottom of the hair foillicle a projection is formed comparable to sticking a finger in the bottom of a stocking and pushing it in a small amount. This specific
projection is known as the papilla and it also contains capillaries, or very small blood vessels, that will feed cells.
The living part of the hair is base part of the stocking surrounding the papilla known as the bulb. That base part is only part fed by capillary vessels. Cells inside bulb divide every twenty four to seventy two hrs, a lot quicker compared to all other cells in our body.
